Dior and Armani face antitrust investigations over allegations of worker exploitation

Supply Chain Risk

Italy’s competition authority said it was investigating luxury brands Christian Dior SE and Giorgio Armani SpA after prosecutors’ investigations uncovered cases of worker exploitation at the groups’ suppliers, Reuters reported. Prosecutors in Milan found that the brands used materials from workshops where workers were underpaid. The regulator said the companies misled customers about their ethics and social responsibility.
