“Our plan is to eventually delve into multiple industries where we know there is a huge need to connect buyers and sellers to create a true win-win,” said Marcus Lemonis, executive chairman of Beyond Inc. “We believe our company can be an online leader in helping manufacturers, retailers, distributors and lenders solve complex inventory problems to generate cash and improve their own profitability, while also creating a highly trafficked, value-driven destination for consumers. This isn’t just about reintroducing Overstock, but rather reimagining its significant capabilities. We will continue to pursue partnerships and joint ventures to create product and transaction flow, as well as unique ways to monetize the Overstock brand.”

Beyond was known as Overstock from 1999 to 2023. In June 2023, it acquired the Bed Bath & Beyond intellectual property, then rebranded Overstock.com as Bed Bath in August, and finally rebranded the company as Beyond in November. Following a management change in late 2023, it acquired flash sales site Zulily and relaunched the Overstock.com brand in March.
