Oppo K12x 5G India Launch July 29: Features, Specs, More

Mobile phone maker Oppo is set to refresh its K series in India with the K12x 5G. The Oppo K12x 5G is all set to make its debut in India, with Oppo officially announcing the launch date and sharing details about the smartphone’s design, available colours, and key features, including information about the display and battery capacity.

K12x 5G India Introduction

Oppo has confirmed that the K12x 5G will launch in India on July 29.

It is worth noting that the Chinese version of the Oppo K12x 5G was launched earlier this year, but the Indian variant seems to have some differences in design compared to its Chinese counterpart. There are speculations that the Oppo K12x 5G could launch in India as a rebadged version of the OnePlus Nord CE 4.

K12x 5G Specifications and Features

According to the company’s promotional materials, the design bears a striking resemblance to the OnePlus Nord CE 4, fueling speculations about a rebranding strategy by parent group BBK. The design and features of the upcoming smartphone have been revealed, giving buyers a taste of what to expect from this new addition to Oppo’s lineup in the Indian market.

The upcoming Oppo K12x 5G will feature a unique camera layout on its rear panel.

The device houses a dual-lens camera system housed in an elongated, pill-like body, with a circular LED flash accompanying it. On the front, the screen is interrupted by a centrally placed cutout at the top that houses the selfie camera. The physical controls of the smartphone are arranged along its right side, with the volume rockers and power button within easy reach of users.

Oppo has launched the official product page of the K12x 5G on its Indian website, where it has been revealed that the device will be available in two colour variants: Breeze Blue and Midnight Violet.

Oppo K12x 5G will receive Splash Touch technology

The K12x 5G will feature a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Oppo says the screen will feature Splash Touch technology, allowing users to operate the device even with wet hands.

According to Oppo’s specs, the K12x 5G will have a slim profile, measuring just 7.68mm thick and weighing 186 grams. The smartphone is designed with durability in mind, boasting an IP54 rating against dust and water splashes. It will also feature double-strengthened Panda Glass for better screen protection and will meet MIL-STD-810H standards for durability.
