The Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Division of Wildlife Resources is making it even easier to get out on the water and in the woods by putting all the information you need in one place in a new, combined guide.

The Georgia Hunting and Fishing Regulations and Fishing Season Guide provides important information on hunting (season dates, bag limits, wildlife management areas, hunting quotas, youth opportunities), fishing (freshwater and saltwater fish color code chart, trout fishing areas, public fishing area information, state registry fish listings), recreational licensing and more.

MAJOR CHANGES IN HUNTING:
Federal Duck Stamp: Electronic Federal Duck Tag will be valid through the season; new prices. See page 17 for more information.
Electronic calls for lynxes and foxes: Lynxes and foxes can be hunted using recorded calls or sounds (e.g. electronic sounds).
Quail season:Statewide quail hunting season begins the second Saturday in November.
New public hunting opportunities: Featherfield Metropolitan Area (Seminole County) and Cochrans Creek Metropolitan Area (Dawson County)
