LONDON — European stock markets are expected to open mixed on Tuesday as investors await the latest earnings reports from regional companies.

Britain’s FTSE is expected to open the session down 12 points at 8,192, Germany’s DAX is expected to rise 76 points to 18,490, France’s CAC 40 is expected to rise 18 points to 7,639 and Italy’s FTSE MIB is expected to rise 122 points to 34,984, according to IG data.
