The two sides also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and partnership between the two countries in key areas such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, renewable energy, photovoltaic production, logistics services, transportation and storage.

He said: “The UAE and China have a close relationship based on mutual respect, shared vision and sustainable economic interests, thanks to the directives of the leaders of both countries and their willingness to strengthen bilateral cooperation. He added that his visit reaffirms the UAE’s commitment to working with partners, exploring new opportunities for cooperation in key areas and building on the positive discussions that took place during the visit of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in May.

He added that China is one of the UAE’s strategic partners, playing a key role in strengthening partnerships and initiatives that support sustainable economic development. China is also one of Adnoc’s most important markets in terms of crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals production.

He stressed that the UAE will remain China’s partner in its role as a reliable energy supplier. He also pointed out the importance of strengthening cooperation and leveraging economically viable opportunities and strategic partnerships to achieve mutual and sustainable benefits for both countries in all areas, including oil and gas, renewable energy, maritime transportation and storage. During meetings with Chinese government officials, he expressed his aspiration to achieve greater cooperation by creating new opportunities in the priority sectors of both countries, with the aim of serving common interests and strengthening existing cooperation under the CSP.
