Spain to deliver Hawk anti-aircraft battery to Ukraine in September

At least that’s what the Spanish embassy in Ukraine says, Ukrinform reports, citing profile X of the embassy.

“Spain will deliver the capability to provide Ukraine with a Hawk air defense battery in September. Defense Minister Margarita Robles said this during talks with her Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umerov,” the report reads.

Minister Umerov thanked Spain for its crucial support.

As Ukrinform previously reported, in July 2024, Spain began transferring a new batch of military aid to Ukraine, which includes 10 Leopard 2A4 main battle tanks, several excavators and a large number of anti-tank missiles.
