The Duchess of Sussex was spotted arriving in the city ahead of a prestigious business summit in the Hamptons. Speculation is rife that the exclusive gathering is the final step before the official launch of her lifestyle business, American Riviera Orchard. All eyes are on Markle as she transitions from public figure to seasoned businesswoman.

Meghan Markle flies to the Hamptons for the G9 Ventures Summit

According to Page Six, Meghan Markle joined a group of influential business figures by attending the exclusive G9 Ventures Summer Summit, hosted by Amy Grifin. The influential broker is a leading figure in the venture capital world, serving as the founder and head of G9 Ventures.

Reports indicate that Meghan flew from California to New York on a private jet with her close friend and makeup artist Victoria Jackson to soak up the word about her upcoming lifestyle brand. Griffin’s venture capital firm focuses on consumer-facing businesses, which is in line with Duchess’ potential business direction. While Markle has yet to officially reveal her venture, she’s already generating excitement by sharing select products with her inner circle for early feedback and promotion.

G9 invests money in startups that help people “live, look and feel great.” The annual event is funded by a million dollars from the CEO and her husband, a super-rich hedge fund boss named John Griffin. Griffin helps startups and has advised major brands like Goop, Archive, Spanx, Maple, Julie, K18, Athletic Greens and Bumble.
