An educational program for MMC students was organized

Patna: Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Incubation Centre Magadh Mahila College (MMC) in cooperation with the start-up cell LN Mishra Institute Economic Development and Social Change organized outreach program for their students who will come here on Saturday to familiarize them with the basic ideas start-ups in Bihar. Many girls took part in the program, some of them came up with brilliant ideas for start-ups.
Head of Startups Ritu Narayan and Coordinator Jyotish Shankar gave a detailed presentation on various aspects of entrepreneurship, its opportunities and challenges.

They emphasized that support for incubation is provided through financial and infrastructural support for start-ups and state-supported incubators.
The state government is also supporting incubators to set up or upgrade existing facilities through funds and incentives to improve incubation infrastructure. Biro Power Pvt Ltd CEO Rajnish Kumar also addressed the students.
An idea competition was organised for students in which Varsha Kumari, Pallavi Kumari and Aditi Srivastava were awarded first, second and third prizes respectively.
College Principal Namita Kumari welcomed the guests and encouraged the students to take up ambitious start-up ideas and work towards making India a developed nation. Staff Sweta Sharan moderated the programme.

Psychiatrists, counsellors and educators have stressed the importance of addressing bullying and aggressive tendencies in schools after a Jadavpur University student was mentally tortured by his peers. They stressed the need for early psychological counselling and group counselling to mitigate such behaviour and urged educational institutions to adopt a zero-tolerance policy towards bullying and physical violence.
