CUET results are already known, UG recruitment until August 25

Indore: After almost a month of delay, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAWV) admission to bachelor’s degree programmes is now expected to begin consulting based on the CUET-UG results from August 20 to 25. This was done after the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the CUET-UG results on Sunday, a month after the scheduled date of June 30.
The university will probably receive the complete student data from the NTA in the next seven to eight days. Based on this data, the DAVV will prepare the ranking list and rankings in the next three days.
A link to register for counseling will then open. If data is received by August 5, registrations will likely begin on August 10, giving students at least 10 days to register. Counseling is expected to begin within five to seven days of registration, potentially beginning on August 25.
DAVV CUET Chairman Dr Kanhaiya Ahuja said, “Registration will begin within three days of receiving the details from NTA. Our aim is to start counselling as soon as possible after August 20. We will write to NTA requesting them to send us the result sheets as soon as possible to avoid any further delay.”This year, over 1.05 lakh students opted for admission to various courses at DAVV while filling the CUET-UG admission list.
This year, DAVV is offering admissions to 25 UG courses through CUET-UG, including 14 integrated programmes, all of five-year duration. Of these, five integrated programmes specialise in MTech. The university has also decided to conduct the second round of counselling for CUET-PG alongside the UG counselling. There are over 400 vacancies in CUET-PG, with around 200 in the core courses. In Group A, MBA Finance and Marketing was the top pick in the previous round, with a small number of seats remaining. Other courses with a few vacancies include MBA Entrepreneurship, HR, e-commerce, Business Economics and Financial Services. Courses like MBA APR, Tourism, Rural Development and Public Administration saw the most demand, with seats filled in the first round, but a few seats are still available.
