ON Semiconductor Corp.: Second Quarter Results Summary

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — ON Semiconductor Corp. (ON) on Monday reported second-quarter revenue of $338.2 million.

On a per-share basis, the Scottsdale, Arizona-based company said it had profit of 78 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 96 cents per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 13 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 92 cents per share.

The semiconductor component maker posted revenue of $1.74 billion in the period, also topping Street forecasts. Twelve analysts surveyed by Zacks had expected $1.73 billion.

ON Semiconductor Corp. expects earnings per share to be between 91 cents and $1.03 for the current quarter ending in September.

The company said it expects revenue of $1.7 billion to $1.8 billion in the fiscal third quarter.
