BEL's turnover in the June quarter increased by 19%, profit increased by 46%

Bengaluru: Defense PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) On Monday, turnover was announced at 4105.1 crore rupees in the first quarter of 2024-25, registering a growth of 19.1% as compared to the turnover of Rs 3,446.7 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. “Profit before tax (PBT) in the first quarter of 2024-25 stood at Rs 1,037.3 crore, registering a growth of 47.4% as compared to PBT of Rs 703.7 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. Profit after tax (PAT) in the first quarter stood at Rs 776.1 crore, registering a growth of 46.2%,” BEL said. tnn

Nestle India’s profit rose 7% to Rs 746.6 crore in the June quarter
Nestle India reported a 6.9% rise in net profit for the quarter ended June 2024 at Rs 746.60 crore, compared with Rs 698.34 crore in the previous year. Revenue from product sales rose 3.75% to Rs 4,792.97 crore, while domestic sales rose 4.24%. However, exports fell 7.17%. Total income rose 3.64%. The stock was down 1.79% in afternoon trade on the BSE.
