He added that these regions include the Middle East and Europe.

Founded in 2016 by Gopalan and Ananth Nagaraj, the Bengaluru-based company provides a no-code, voice-first platform with features including omni-channel conversational automation, agent assistance, voice biometrics, and omni-channel analytics. Most of its customers come from the banking, financial services, and insurance sectors.

“We are also present among the top OEMs in automotive and telecom as well as other sectors,” Gopalan said.

“We have grown more than 2x in the last three years and we have done it profitably. We expect to continue to grow our revenues by at least 2-3x in the next two years and expand our customer base both in India and the US,” he added.

Gopalan said the company has raised a total of $8 million.

Commenting on the investment, Chinmaya Sharma, Partner at Info Edge Ventures, said, “We are excited to invest in Gnani.ai. It is a company that embodies our AI investment thesis. We like to invest in founders who are building to solve a problem, not just find a use case for AI.”
