A pair of former Falcons players have found new homes with the Vikings and Jets.

The Falcons are in the preseason of training camp, but Terry Fontenot continues to shake up the roster following the recent acquisitions of James Washington and Jesse Matthews.

Several former Falcons players have also found new homes as training camp continues across the league. Former Atlanta cornerback Fabian Moreau has signed a deal to join the Vikings, according to NFL Network. And Anthony Firkser has signed with the Jets, by Adam Schefter.

Moreau spent the 2021 season with the Falcons, starting every game opposite AJ Terrell and recording 61 tackles, 11 passes defensed and three tackles for loss.

After Moreau was released as a free agent, the former Commanders third-round draft pick signed with the Texans but was released before the start of the regular season before being dealt to the Giants, where he appeared in 11 games.

The journeyman joined the Broncos late last summer and again played in 11 games. He now joins the Vikings late in the season, hoping to secure a spot in the starting lineup again.

As for Firkser, the quarterback was a perfect fit for Arthur Smith’s offense, appearing in 11 games for the Falcons in 2022. While he didn’t return in 2023, he’s currently in New York trying to carve out a complementary role with the Jets.
