The Fond du Lac County Republican Party selects the candidates it will officially endorse.

On July 25, members of the Fond du Lac County Republican Party gathered to hear reports from the executive team, discuss newly drawn precinct maps and hear from candidates.

During the meeting, members reviewed the statute regarding the endorsement process and voted to endorse the party in the disputed elections.

In the race for the 27th District, in which Lindee Brill and Brian Hilbelink were candidates, with the option of not endorsing, Lindee Brill received 78% of the vote
members voting.

In the race for the 37th District, in which candidates were Steve Rydzewski and Mark Born, with the option of not endorsing, Steve Rydzewski received 86% of the vote
members voting.

In the race for Senate District 20, in which candidates Timothy Ramthun and Dan Feyen were running, with the option of not endorsing, Timothy Ramthun received 86% of the member votes.

The Fond du Lac County Republican Party officially endorses Lindee Brill, Steve Rydzewski and Timothy Ramthun.

The practice of endorsing is a long-standing tradition of the county, district and state party. The Fond du Lac County Republican Party says, “We respect the wishes of our members to help voters choose candidates. We remain committed to providing our full support to any candidate who advances through the primary process.”
