Beats Fit Pro earbuds drop to new low of $140

The Beats Fit Pro are a great set of earphones, especially if you have a variety of Apple devices. Now is a better time than ever to pick up a set, as their price has dropped to an all-time low. The white version is . That’s $60 off their regular price and $10 off what we saw during Prime Day.

They’re our pick and we’ve given them the earbuds. Our main takeaway is that they offer all the main features of the Apple AirPods (Apple owns Beats) without having to be stuck with the questionable stem design. Instead, the Beats Fit Pro have a wing design that helps them stay securely in your ears even during intense workouts. The Beats Fit Pro have solid sound quality with punchy bass, and the surround sound support is a great feature. While you can’t fully customize the equalizer settings, the Adaptive EQ feature helps maintain good sound quality no matter what you’re listening to. The active noise cancellation and transparency modes are also winners in our book. Battery life isn’t bad, at up to six hours, and the charging case extends it by an additional 21 hours.

Apple fans will get the most out of them, as the earbuds connect almost instantly to iPhones and other Apple products. The earbuds automatically switch between your iPhone, iPad, and Mac, depending on which device you’re using at the time. You can also control the earbuds from the system settings—Apple users don’t need to download a separate app. However, Android users can also get a lot out of the Beats Fit Pro. There’s support for quick pairing and custom controls via the companion app, and you also get a battery status indicator.

The downside is that the controls can be a bit too sensitive. It’s too easy to accidentally press them when simply adjusting the earbuds, which is annoying. The charging case also feels relatively cheap compared to the solid build quality of the earbuds. These minor niggles aside, the Beats Fit Pro are a solid option for anyone looking for a great set of running headphones — or earbuds in general.
