AFFOLTER GROUP gear hobbing machines, designed for precision, efficiency and versatility, will be presented at IMTS 2024, stand 237223.

“We develop new options and configure the AF160 based on each customer’s needs,” Mr. Affolter continued. Milling options include sensor-sensed cutting, deburring integration, part orientation, part presence checks and more.

“Instead of pre-configuring every detail, we offer an open system that can be customized to each customer’s needs. We fine-tune the software and machines to make our customers more productive,” he explained. The hardware is supplied by Beckhoff Automation, a specialist in computer-based automation and control technology.
