Woman injured in Sumy region as a result of enemy fire

As a result of shelling in the Sumy region, a woman was injured and a house was damaged.

The Sumy police reported this in a telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“Over the past day, the occupiers have again shelled the territory of the region. A total of 96 attacks using various types of weapons have been recorded. As a result of enemy fire, one civilian was wounded,” the statement reads.

Additionally, a private home and a low-pressure gas pipeline were damaged.

As reported, police investigative teams were already working at the scene.

Investigators have initiated criminal proceedings in connection with the incidents described in Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Violation of the laws and customs of war.”

As Ukrinform reports, at night and in the morning, the Russians fired four times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy Oblast. Four explosions were recorded.

The towns of Yunakivska, Bilopila and Esmanska were shelled.
