The admit card for UGC NET 2024 exam will be released by the examining body after the release of the exam cities forms

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the revised schedule for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) for June 2024. Candidates can check the schedule on the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The announcement stated that the UGC NET June 2024 Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be conducted again from August 21 to September 4. The NTA will soon release the admit cards for the UGC NET 2024 revision exam. However, the exact time and date of release is yet to be announced by the authority.

The UGC NET 2024 admit card will be released by the examining body after the release of the exam papers. As per the previous trends, the UGC NET admit card will be released 15 days before the scheduled exam date.

UGC NET 2024 Exam: How to Download Exam City Question Paper?

Step 1. Visit ugcnet.nta.ac.in, the official website.

Step 2. Select the “UGC NET exam city intimation slip 2024” notification link which will appear on the home page.

Step 3. Enter your date of birth, application number and PIN.

Step 4. The UGC NET 2024 exam application form will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5. For future reference, download and save the UGC NET 2024 Exam City Slip.

The admit cards will contain information like the name of the examination center, date, time and other details. The name of the candidates’ examination center locations will also be mentioned on the examination city card.

The Ministry of Education then cancelled the paper-based UGC NET exam, which was to be held on June 18. On June 19, the board announced the cancellation due to a possible paper leak. It was eventually discovered that the question paper had been circulated on the dark web two days before the test.

On June 18, the UGC NET 2024 exam was conducted by NTA in two separate shifts, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The UGC-NET June 2024 exam was successfully conducted for 11,21,225 candidates at 1,205 exam centres spread across 317 locations across the country.

The June exam saw a rise in the number of candidates who registered and appeared for UGC NET. As compared to 9,45,872 registered candidates in December 2023, this year, 11,21,225 candidates appeared for the exam, of which 6,35,587 were female, 4,85,579 were male and 59 were third gender candidates. This time, 9,08,580 candidates appeared for the exam, which means around 81% candidates were present, while in December 2023, 73.6% candidates were present.
