Pixel 9 pre-order deals could be disappointing

Sometimes the best time to buy a product is before it actually goes on sale. Tons of companies are offering pre-order deals for their devices, and Google is no exception. Thanks to a new leak, we now have pre-order deals for the Pixel 9 series. Just keep in mind that these may be pre-order deals in France.

If you can’t wait to learn more about Google’s Pixel 9 series of phones, we’ll be seeing at least two of them in less than two weeks. Google will be holding another Made By Google event on August 13. We’ll see the Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro Fold, and possibly a few other devices. So if you can’t wait to see what the company has in store for us, mark it on your calendar.

Here are the potential pre-order deals for the Pixel 9 series

Just a quick note, you should treat this with a grain of salt, as it’s a leaked piece of information. Google will let us know about the deals during the event… that is, if it’s not too busy talking about AI.

As for the deals, they’ll be different from last year, according to the leak. Last year, if you pre-ordered a Pixel 8 phone, you got either a Pixel Watch 2 or a pair of Pixel Buds Pro. That’s a hell of a deal, especially if you’re looking to get into the Pixel ecosystem.

You get storage upgrades under this offer. This is similar to what Samsung does. So, if you order during the pre-order window, you’ll get the 256GB variant of the phone for the price of the 128GB variant. This includes the 512GB variant (get it for the price of the 256GB variant) and the 1TB variant (for the same price as the 512GB variant).

According to the report, these deals apply to “most authorized resellers” in France. As you might imagine, other resellers in other markets may offer different deals. Those in the U.S. or other markets can still get the Pixel Watch or Pixel Buds.

Other offers

As 9To5Google reports, users who purchase a Pixel 9 Pro, Pro XL, or Pro Fold will receive 12 free months of Google One AI Premium if they order before December. Those who purchase a Pixel 9 will receive six months of the service.
