According to reports, the tokens will be distributed to more than 25,000 worshippers.

Devotees from across the country are hoping to visit the Tirumala district to pay homage to Lord Sri Srinivasa. According to a report by Local18, the visitors include VVIPs, VIPs, dignitaries and persons with constitutional status. Further reports say that Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), the organisation that manages temples in the region, has allotted tokens for darshan slots to devotees. Local18 reports that VVIPs and VIPs visit the temple through multiple routes; while for others, the organisers have arranged special entry. Around 5 to 10 per cent devotees visit the place through referral letters. For regular devotees who want to opt for VIP darshan, TTD has made available tokens for slots. As per reports, tokens are being provided to over 25,000 devotees. As per the time given in the token, TTD will make arrangements within 3 hours of reaching the queue. Devotees, hoping for darshan of the deity, are reportedly arriving there much earlier than expected.

The advertisements are being made in multiple languages like Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and English. The advertisements would be displayed at Tirupati railway station and bus stands, and also at Srinivasam, Vishnu Nivasa and Alipiri Bhoodevi complexes to reach out to maximum devotees. The executive director further stated that devotees can also visit local temples in Tirupati or visit spiritual places in Tirumala without waiting outside in queues.

Shyamala Rao, executive director of TTD, on Friday appealed to the public, asking them to adhere to the time allotted on their SED tickets and SSD tokens to avoid unnecessary waiting at Tirumala. Devotees who arrive much earlier have to wait for long hours.
