Narayana Hrudayalaya Q1 PAT grows 9% YoY to Rs 1,341 cr | Capital Market News

Narayana Hrudayalaya reported a 9.48 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 201.38 crore on 8.72 per cent rise in operating income at Rs 1,340.95 crore in Q1 FY25 as compared to Q1 FY24.

India revenues stood at Rs 1,085.5 crore (up 9.7% YoY) and Cayman Islands revenues (comprising HCCI and EICL entities) stood at Rs 267.4 crore (up 4.8% YoY).

Consolidated EBITDA increased by 14.6% to Rs 327.4 crore in the quarter ended June 2024 from Rs 285.8 crore in Q1 FY2024. EBITDA margin increased to 24.4% in Q1 FY25 as compared to 23% in Q1 FY24.

As of June 30, 2024, total debt net of cash and bank balances and current investments stood at Rs 154.9 crore, resulting in a net debt to equity ratio of 0.03 (of which USD 75 million of debt is denominated in foreign currency).

We are pleased to report the highest quarterly revenues ever, with profitability remaining strong, driven by improved execution and increased patient numbers.

The improvement in results is supported by strong growth in our core businesses, other hospitals and continued improvement in the performance of our newer hospitals. HCCI continues to deliver strong results in both revenue and profitability in the current quarter. NHIC delivered another strong quarter of increased patient transactions. We are confident that we will meet our expectations in the new fiscal year.

The securities fell by 1.84% and closed at Rs 1,230.15 on Friday, August 2, 2024.
