Chai pe Charcha from BrandWagon – Brand Wagon News

Weekends are a time to relax. After a week of working to meet deadlines, everyone needs a moment of respite to relax and rejuvenate. From watching your favorite web series to planning a vacation, weekends are meant for family and me time. Amit Relan, Co-Founder, WOOT Factor: Brand Architects talks to BrandWagon Online about your weekends, favorite vacation spots and more.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?

As an entrepreneur, I am never away from work, but in the time I do manage to find for myself, I like to indulge in sports, listen to podcasts or watch movies to distract myself. This usually helps me unwind from a busy schedule.

How do you spend your weekends?

I like to spend my free time mostly socializing with friends at home or outside. Sometimes this also includes organizing events in my industry. The need for the weekend dictates my activities around it.

What are your favorite gadgets?

There are a few essentials that I can’t live without, my phone is one of them. I have a knack for gaming in my free time, so my PlayStation. For the love of good music, my Bluetooth speakers are a must have that I have to have on hand.

If you had the opportunity to choose another career, which would you choose?

I have always been fascinated by cinema that is full of substance, so I would have loved to devote myself to acting, but I never managed to do so.

Seriously speaking, I would take up cricket professionally. I love the game and still play it passionately whenever I have the time.

Which vacation destination is your favorite?

Traveling has been an exciting part of my journey, which sometimes translates into the work I do. There are many destinations, but Amsterdam is a unique place to visit. The culture of the city and the vibe are just amazing.

A TV show, movie and ad campaign you highly recommend watching

Suits as a series is an interesting series to watch. In addition, Friends is my favorite series that cheers me up at any time and adds nostalgia.

When it comes to films, I admire Rang de Basanti or Lagaan for the art of filmmaking. When it comes to advertising campaigns, Nike, Johnny Walker, Coca-Cola and Amul print ads over the decades are some of the classic advertising campaigns that I recommend.
