My net worth has increased by 47 million since 2022 – Miano

Tourism and Wildlife Cabinet Secretary candidate Rebecca Miano has revealed that her net worth is 444,000 shillings.

On Saturday, during a speech before the Appointments Committee in Parliament, Miano said she had revalued her current assets.

At the last verification in September 2022, the nominated person was valued at 397,000 shillings.

“I did not increase the assets, but I did a modest revaluation of the properties, taking into account their increase in value,” she said.

She served as Cabinet Secretary for Commerce from October 2023 until July 11, 2024, when President William Ruto dismissed his previous cabinet.

Previously she served as Director of EAC, ASAL and Regional Development.

She was previously nominated for the position of Prosecutor General.
