OnePlus Announces Open Apex Edition with VIP Mode

Washington (US), August 3 (ANI): OnePlus is all set to announce its latest device, the OnePlus Open Apex Edition, on August 7.

According to GSM Arena, the new model will feature a striking Crimson Shadow colour and a faux leather finish.

It is worth noting that the Apex edition will introduce a new privacy feature known as VIP Mode, aimed at increasing security and user control.

VIP mode, which was mentioned in a recent post on X, is a significant step forward in terms of privacy features.

This mode is designed to give users more control over their personal data. It allows you to quickly deactivate your device’s cameras, microphone, and location services by simply adjusting the notification slider.

According to GSM Arena, the functionality is similar to, and in some cases even better than, the privacy features available through Oppo’s VIP mode on the Find N3 and Find X7 Ultra.

While OnePlus has not revealed all the features of VIP mode at this stage, the feature is expected to bring additional privacy controls in line with the growing demand for better data protection.

The introduction of this mode in the Apex edition sets high standards for privacy and security in mobile devices, according to GSM Arena.

Additionally, OnePlus is expected to extend the VIP mode feature to other models in the OnePlus Open series, widening its reach across the entire device range. (ANI)
