Russian army lost 1,150 soldiers in Ukraine in the last day

The losses of the Russian army in the fighting in Ukraine from February 24, 2022 to August 4, 2024 amounted to almost 582,910 soldiers, including 1,150 soldiers killed or wounded in fighting over the past 24 hours.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this in a Facebook post.

Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 8,411 enemy tanks (+5 over the past 24 hours), 16,255 armored fighting vehicles (+17), 16,276 artillery systems (+59), 1,138 multiple rocket launchers (+3), 911 air defense systems (+3), 363 aircraft, 326 helicopters, 13,103 unmanned aerial vehicles (+41), 2,412 cruise missiles (+2), 28 warships/boats, 1 submarine, 22,006 motor vehicles (+80), and 2,734 pieces of special equipment (+11).

According to Ukrinform, Ukrainian air defenses shot down five enemy Shahed-131/136 drones over the Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad and Zaporizhia regions.
