Presenter Patrick Gower presents the RNZ programme From nine to noon programme on Monday morning.

Gower, a former Newshub correspondent, previously hosted King’s Birthday Morning with Paddy on RNZ National on 3 June.

It was a one-off appearance by a journalist known mainly for his television career.

Gower will interview Home Secretary Brooke van Velden and AUT Gambling and Addiction Research Centre Director Maria Bellringer about concerns about online casino regulation.

He will also look at low confidence in agriculture and speak to Middle East correspondent Sebastian Usher.
