Crunchyroll Reveals Multiple Acquisitions for Animagic 2024

Crisp organized its industry panel at the annual anime convention in Germany, AnimagiC 2024, Saturday, August 3rd in Rosengarten Mannheim. With hundreds of excited fans, Crunchyroll announced the acquisition of several highly anticipated animated series from Japan that will soon be broadcast worldwide. Highlights include:

An exciting procedural drama Ron Kamonohashi’s Banned Takedowns returns to Crunchyroll Season 2 and a new trailer was shared during the panel. The premiere is scheduled for fall, October 2024.

Season 1 Summary: Ron Kamonohashi was once considered a genius at the top detective academy. But after a fatal mistake, he was expelled and banned from becoming a detective. Years later, police officer Totomaru Isshiki knocks on Ron’s door, asking for help with a serial murder case. He finds Ron, now a loner with wild hair, who agrees. Together, this mismatched team of detectives begins to solve their first case!

Crunchyroll Announces Anime Adaptation Pickup GAME OF BILLIONSbased on the adventure-comedy manga written by Riichiro Inagaki (Dr. STONE) and illustrated by Ryoichi Ikegami, which is scheduled for release this year October 2024 on Crunchyroll.

Summary: Old school friends Haru and Gaku will do anything to achieve success. And success for them means making a trillion dollars!
