Taylor Swift leads VMAs with 10 nominations

MTV announced that Taylor Swift has received more nominations for the 2024 Video Music Awards than any other artist.

Swift is nominated again for Video of the Year, an award she has won four times, including in the past two years.

Last year Swift led all nominees with eight.

The VMA Awards ceremony is set to be broadcast live UBS Arena in New York on September 10 and will be shown in over 150 countries.

Also receiving the most nominations were Post Malone with nine nominations, Ariana Grande, Eminem and Sabrina Carpenter (6 each); Megan Thee Stallion and SZA (5 each), LISA, Olivia Rodrigo and Teddy Swims (4 each).

Official sponsors of the 2024 VMA Awards include Bacardi Rum, Burger King, Doritos, Downy Unstopables, The General Insurance, Healthysexual by Gilead Sciences, Hilton, Kraft Mac & Cheese, Oreo cookies and Pantene.

Starting Tuesday, fans can vote for their favorites in 15 gender-neutral categories, including Video of the Year, presented by Burger King; Best Collaboration; and Artist of the Year, by visiting vote.mtv.com through Friday, Aug. 30. Voting is sponsored by The General Insurance.

Voting for Best New Artist will be active until September 10th.

Last year’s TV broadcast It attracted a total of 3.92 million viewers overnight and saw viewership growth across all demographics, including a 54% increase among young viewers aged 18-34.
