Minister Rammohan Naidu explores AI-based solutions for civil aviation with YouTube, Google

New Delhi (India), August 6 (ANI): Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu on Tuesday met and had a detailed discussion with YouTube Global Head Neel Mohan, Google Asia Pacific Head Sanjay Gupta, Managing Director Government Affairs Sreenivas Reddy and YouTube Global Vice President Government Affairs Lesslie Miller in New Delhi.

During this groundbreaking meeting, the Minister wanted to use technology to develop civil aviation and improve management.

During the meeting, the leaders discussed the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI) in management and discussed Google’s innovative solutions that can improve management using AI.

Rammohan Naidu emphasised the potential of AI to streamline processes, increase efficiency and promote transparency in the civil aviation sector.

Rammohan Naidu expressed his optimism about the positive outcomes of the collaboration, stating, “The integration of AI and technology in management and civil aviation has huge potential. By working with tech giants like YouTube and Google, we can create a more efficient, informed and innovative aviation sector that will benefit everyone.” YouTube’s Global Head Neel Mohan highlighted the significant growth in content creation capabilities on YouTube, which has played a key role in educating and entertaining billions of people around the world. He stressed on the importance of creating impactful content that can create awareness and knowledge across sectors.

Rammohan Naidu used the occasion to request YouTube to collaborate to increase awareness and knowledge about civil aviation. He envisioned a partnership where YouTube could play a key role in educating the public about the intricacies and advancements in the aviation sector, thereby fostering a more informed and engaged audience.

In addition, the minister asked Google to explore the possibility of cooperation with aviation-related startups.

He highlighted the challenges facing the aviation industry and asked Google to help develop innovative solutions to address these issues. The potential partnership aims to support startups that can contribute to the growth and development of the aviation sector through cutting-edge technology and innovative approaches.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to further explore opportunities for cooperation and take action to implement innovative solutions that could impact the future of civil aviation and its management. (ANI)
