Yusuf has faith in Baby Bula Boys – FBC News

Fiji Football Association chief executive Mohammed Yusuf says he believes Digicel Fiji Baby Bula Boys have what it takes to secure a place at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar next year.

Tomorrow they will face Tahiti in the semi-finals of the OFC Under-16 World Cup. If they beat Tahiti, they will be guaranteed qualification for the World Cup.

Yusuf said the team proved their worth during the group matches and believes they have much more potential than they showed.

“We have full confidence in the team management and the team. And we expect the people of Fiji to watch this match tomorrow at 4pm Fiji time on FIFA Plus and we also welcome the support from the football fans of Fiji. This is a historic match, a victory will secure Fiji’s participation in the World Cup.”

He adds that the team has worked hard over the last few months to get to where they are and says they are proud of their team regardless of the result.

Tomorrow at 4pm the team will face Tahiti.
