Servotech secures 1.2MW solar storage order at UP: Rediff Moneynews

Servotech Power Systems has secured an order for 1.2 MW of solar energy storage and grid-connected systems in Uttar Pradesh to improve energy access and sustainability.

New Delhi, Aug 7 (PTI) Servotech Power Systems on Wednesday said it has secured an order for a total of 1.2 MW, worth around Rs 10.20 crore, for deployment of solar energy storage and grid-connected systems.

The order was placed by the Uttar Pradesh Rural Development Department and Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA), a company statement said.

Servotech will be responsible for installing multiple 75-kilowatt solar energy storage systems designed to provide reliable and uninterrupted power across the state.

Additionally, the company will also design, manufacture, supply, install, test and commission 20 kW and 40 kW grid-connected photovoltaic systems, contributing to the state’s renewable energy goals.

Sarika Bhatia, Director, Servotech Power Systems, said, “We are delighted to partner with the Department of Rural Development and UPNEDA in their efforts to improve energy access and sustainable development in Uttar Pradesh.”

The company has previously worked with UPNEDA to commission and maintain off-grid solar power plants of varying capacities across Uttar Pradesh.
