LendingPoint Names Shawn Stone Chief Executive Officer – NMP

LendingPoint, an Atlanta-based online lending and servicing platform, announced the appointment of Shawn Stone, a longtime financial services executive, as the company’s new CEO and board member.

Stone is a financial services executive with more than 25 years of experience in online lending, loan servicing, credit and capital markets. He spent more than 20 years with Mr. Cooper, where he played a key role in growing the company into the nation’s largest mortgage loan servicer. Stone most recently served as Mr. Cooper’s chief revenue and production officer.

Stone also served as executive founder and chairman of Xome, Mr. Cooper’s technology-driven real estate and mortgage subsidiary. Before joining LendingPoint, Stone was a senior advisor at Bayview Asset Management and served as CEO and board member at Renovate America, a prominent POS, ESG and home improvement fintech lender.
