Genuit (formerly Polypipe Group) has committed a combined £5.2m to acquire a green roof specialist and two underfloor heating suppliers.

For £2.5m Genuit acquired Sky Garden Limited, which supplies products for green and bio-solar roofs, podium decks and green walls. Sky Garden was acquired for £2.5m cash.

The Tewksbury, Gloucestershire-based company will join Genuit’s Water Management Solutions (WMS) business and provide additional go-to-market capabilities for Genuit’s Permavoid business.

For £2.7m, Genuit acquired Omnie and Timoleon, which supply underfloor heating (UFH) systems. The businesses operate and manufacture in Exeter and Poland. Omnie serves direct customers and the trade channel, while Timoleon supplies products to OEM customers. Genuit said the brands would extend its existing UFH offering and become part of its Climate Management Solutions (CMS) business unit.

Genuit CEO Joe Vorih said: “We are excited about these acquisitions, which represent a compelling opportunity for Genuit and are consistent with our Sustainable Growth Solutions strategy. They complement our existing portfolio, expand our product offering and enable us to continue to grow in attractive end markets.

“I am pleased to welcome our new colleagues from Sky Garden, Omnie and Timoleon and look forward to working together to continue to address the challenges of climate change and urbanization.”
