Paris Olympics: Samsung gifts nearly 17,000 athletes with Galaxy Z Flip6 devices

Nearly 17,000 Olympic and Paralympic athletes and families received Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition smartphones during the Olympic™ rendezvous @ Samsung showcase in the Olympic and Paralympic Village Paris 2024.

The Paris 2024 Olympic Edition is a special edition of the all-new Galaxy Z Flip6, announced at Galaxy Unpacked in July. To ensure on-time delivery to all Paris 2024 athletes ahead of the official launch, Samsung had to work more closely than ever with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to coordinate a dedicated and more secure transportation program.

This purpose-built smartphone is specifically designed to enhance athletes’ experience at the Games and is the first Olympic edition to feature Galaxy AI. It comes pre-loaded with a full suite of exclusive services and useful apps, including a 100GB 5G eSIM, unlimited free public transport access and several official Olympic apps designed to help athletes open up to new experiences and connect with new people while in Paris.
