Phoebe Burgess reveals she signed up to celebrity dating app Raya after splitting from Sam… and reveals her biggest fear of being a single mum

Pop star Phoebe Burgess made a shocking confession on Saturday that she once signed up to exclusive celebrity dating app Raya.

The former NRL WAG, 36, told Stellar magazine this week that she had set up an account on the site six months ago but cancelled it when she was worried about her two young children.

“I don’t want my kids to ever feel like they’re not my priority. I’m sensitive to that. I have that fear of them ever getting that message from me,” she began.

Phoebe has a seven-year-old daughter, Poppy, and five-year-old son, Billy, with her husband, former Rabbitohs star Sam Burgess.

“They are my most important thing, my goal. That is the thing I would not risk for anything in the world, because they do not deserve it.”

The sexy brunette added that she loved the freedom that being a single mother gives her and is not ready to sacrifice it for a relationship.

I became a single mother in the face of a pandemic that provided me with refuge and a sense of security.

“I don’t want to risk my personal freedom again because even though being a single parent can suck sometimes, I have the independence and freedom to make decisions,” she added.

The stunning player was married to NRL star Sam Burgess for four years.

However, the celebrity couple separated and finalized their divorce in April 2020.

The Burgesses married in 2015, separated in late 2018, and then rekindled their relationship in early 2019.

The couple separated permanently in October of the same year.

Sam, a former South Sydney Rabbitohs player, admitted on SAS Australia to cheating on his wife with a woman from Melbourne in 2017.

He is currently engaged to Leeds hairdresser Lucy Graham and the couple have a daughter called Robbie together.
