Efforts are being made to attract investment in all sectors: Jam Kamal

Lahore: Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan said that extensive measures are being taken to attract investments in all sectors of the economy.

He said this while speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the 9th Pakistan Footwear Materials and Machinery Fair in Lahore on Sunday.

He expressed the government’s commitment to facilitating the business community to achieve desired results. He also added that the government is focused on promoting investment and trade opportunities.

Jam Kamal thanked the Chinese delegates for coming to Lahore and participating in the exhibition, emphasizing that the government is ready to help and facilitate investors to operate in the country.

On this occasion, Minister for Privatisation Abdul Aleem Khan said that it was a good sign that Pakistan Footwear Association was establishing good relations with international brands.

He added that increasing the number of trade officials will help the country establish good contacts in the field of business activities.

He also thanked the delegates from China who attended the 9th Pakistan Footwear Materials and Machinery Fair and encouraged them to consider Pakistan as an ideal business destination.

Earlier, both ministers visited stands at the Pakistan Footwear Material and Machinery Show.
