Electric vehicle sales are falling, but the group’s foreign expansion strategy is not

Not only have electric vehicle sales declined in Australia, but so have Australians’ expectations of purchasing an electric vehicle this decade.

Two years ago, 56 per cent of Australian car owners thought they would own an electric vehicle by 2030. Now that’s just 34 per cent, which we think is still unlikely given that electric vehicles made up just 6.6 per cent of new car sales last month.
