WhatsApp will soon roll out a feature to display avatars on the chat info screen

WhatsApp is known to be constantly working on its app to make it more user-friendly and personalized. Earlier, a report suggested that WhatsApp was working on a privacy feature to decide who can use your avatar in their stickers. But now, after this tool, the messaging app is currently experimenting with a new feature that will allow users to display their avatar on their profiles, and it is scheduled to be released in a future update of the app.

With this new, yet-to-be-released feature, when others view your profile in a chat, they will be able to see your personalized avatar by swiping your profile picture. This will give your online presence an extra touch of individuality and self-expression, according to WABetaInfo.

This new feature will allow users to showcase their personality in chats by displaying an avatar alongside their profile information. This move provides a convenient way for contacts to view their avatar and profile details in one place. Similar to the existing Instagram feature, this update will allow users to express themselves more visually and consistently across platforms.

In addition to the current update, a future update is planned that will further improve the avatar feature, offering users an even more personalized and customized experience. When this update is available, users will receive a notification encouraging them to update, which will give them access to new and improved avatar customization options.

After the update, the new avatar design will be applied automatically, but users have the ability to make changes and edits at any time to ensure that their avatar still reflects their personal style and preferences. A new feature that allows avatars to be featured on the chat information screen is currently in development and will be implemented in an upcoming update, improving the user experience and visual appeal of the platform.

Instagram-like features coming to WhatsApp

Like Instagram, WhatsApp is exploring and expanding the ways in which users can interact with other users. This feature will allow users to simply double-tap a message to respond. This feature aims to significantly speed up the response process, making it even more convenient for users to express their feelings.

The double-tap feedback feature streamlines communication by allowing users to quickly express themselves using the default heart emoji, saving time and allowing you to participate in conversations seamlessly without interruptions or distractions.

In addition to the double-tap reaction feature, WhatsApp is working on another Instagram-like feature. The new feature, called Reshare Status Updates, is designed to simplify the process of sharing status updates that users have been tagged in. When someone is mentioned in a status update, the new feature will allow them to share that update with their contacts, ensuring that relevant content is spread more widely.

Once implemented, the feature will include a new button in the status update interface. This button will allow users to easily share status updates in which they have been mentioned.
