UGC NET Admit Card 2024 Soon Available at ugcnet.nta.ac.in, Direct Link to Download

The National Testing Agency is expected to release the UGC NET 2024 Admit Card and exam city slips soon. Candidates appearing for UGC NET can access their admit cards on the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. Once released, the admit card link will also be provided here.

The UGC NET 2024 exam will be held in CBT mode from August 21 to September 4, 2024, and will cover 83 subjects. The exam will be held in two rounds: the first round will be from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second round from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

NTA has announced that the notification regarding the city where the exam will be held will be published on the NTA website at least 10 days before the exam.

  • Visit the official website: Go to ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
  • Access your Admission Card: From the home page, click the Admission Card link.
  • Enter Login Details: Enter your login details.
  • Download Admit Card: Click on the link to download the admit card.
  • Print for future reference: Make sure you print a copy of your admission card for future reference.

MARKING DIAGRAM

1. For each question you can receive 2 points.
2. For each correct answer the candidate will receive 2 points.
3. No negative points are awarded for an incorrect answer.
4. No points will be awarded for questions that are not answered/not attempted/marked for review.
5. To answer a question, the candidate must indicate one correct answer.
6. If a question is incorrect/ambiguous or has multiple correct answers, only those candidates who attempted to answer the question and selected one of the correct answers will be given credit.
7. If a question is found to be incorrect and abandoned, two marks (+2) will be awarded only to those candidates who attempted to answer the question. This may be due to human or technical error.
8. Since there are no negative marks, the candidate must select the most appropriate option as the correct answer.

NTA will conduct the UGC-NET test in June 2024 for (i) “award of junior research fellowship and appointment to the post of assistant professor”, (ii) “appointment to the post of assistant professor and admission to PhD programmes” and (iii) “admission to PhD programmes only” in 83 subjects through CBT mode.
