US University Modernizes Emergency Communications System with Knightscope Solutions

Knightscope, a provider of robotics and artificial intelligence solutions for public safety, announced that a private university in New Hampshire is expanding its emergency communications device conversion with 28 Knightscope K1 Retrofit Kits, completing a current expansion project that began in summer 2023 to upgrade more than 40 legacy wired systems to Knightscope wireless devices.

Knightscope Retrofit Kits allow users to upgrade their outdated blue light telephones and phone booths to function like the modern, more advanced Knightscope K1 emergency communication devices with built-in features such as wireless solar power, wireless telephone connectivity and self-monitoring software. Additionally, the Knightscope Emergency Management System provides system owners with automated daily email reports on the operational status of their system, instead of having to manually test each device in person, as competitive products require.
