Mediaproxy to Showcase New LogServer Capabilities at IBC 2024

IP compliance software developer Mediaproxy is showcasing the latest updates to its LogServer compliance monitoring system, as well as a redesigned clip processing and publishing engine and new additions to the Monwall multiviewer, at IBC 2024.

LogServer now offers support for both AI-Media Technologies’ recently launched LEXI Recorded self-captioning and transcription platform and Skyline Communications’ open-source DataMiner monitoring and coordination software.

Both companies are close partners of Mediaproxy and will also be exhibiting at IBC, showcasing integration with LogServer at booths 5.C33 (AI-Media) and 1.A57 (Skyline Communications).

For the US market, LogServer offers ATSC 3.0 capability for NextGen IP feeds. Mediaproxy has developed a new software-based technique for monitoring ATSC 3.0 streams both on and off air, which is necessary for analyzing the multiple segments and services that are being transmitted.

In addition, LogServer is compliant with the major standards currently used in broadcast and streaming television, including SMPTE ST 2110 and NMOS (Networked Media Open Specifications) for transporting media over IP networks, and SCTE (Society of Telecommunications Engineers) guidelines for dynamic ad insertion. In addition to highlighting these features, Mediaproxy will demonstrate cloud-based operation and the ability to work with clustered decentralized systems over IP networks.

Alongside this will be a demonstration of the new clip processor and publisher, which has been redesigned. There will also be additions to the Monwall multiviewer on display, including the latest generation of interactive software-based multiviewing systems.
