The world’s fastest smartphone charger can fully charge your device in less than 5 minutes

Scientists have developed the world’s fastest smartphone battery charging technology, which can fully charge a smartphone in less than 5 minutes.

The 320W fast charging technology, called “320W SuperSonic Charge,” was developed by Chinese consumer electronics company Realme and outperforms previous chargers. Smartphone maker Redmi, a subsidiary of Xiaomi, previously unveiled 300W technology to charge a device in 4 minutes and 55 seconds in February 2023, but no manufacturer has managed to go beyond that limit since then — until now.
