GLOBAL ATOMIC ANNOUNCES NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT SUPPORT FOR DASA PROJECT

TORONTO, August 19, 2024 /CNW/ – Global Atomic Corporation (“Global Atomic” or the “Company”), (TSX: GLO) (OTCQX: GLATF) (FRANKFURT: G12) is pleased to announce that the Government of the Republic of Congo has issued a letter Niger ON August 15, 2024in which President Tiani and the Council of Ministers reaffirmed their support for Global Atomic and the Dasa project.

In the letter translated below, the government states that…

Dear Mr. President and CEO,

The Chairman of the National Council for the Protection of the State, Head of State, His Excellency Brigadier General ABDOURAHAMANE TIANI, has been informed of your investments in the mining sector of Niger, particularly in the DASA uranium project, and thanks you for your interest.

The Head of State instructed his Cabinet, the Minister of Mining and all Nigerien entities operating in the sector to facilitate the implementation of projects and investments in accordance with applicable regulations and based on a mutually beneficial approach.

The DASA project, which will be permanently integrated into the national economy, is expected to play an important role as a cornerstone of socio-economic development. In this regard, the highest authorities of Niger fully support it.

Finally, since your company has always complied with the laws of our country, I would like to ask you to continue to do so. This ensures the continuity of our partnership.

We assure you that we will do our utmost to guarantee the best possible support from the state for the DASA project conducted by SOMIDA. I would like to convey to you, Mr. President and Director General, my best wishes.
