Technological connections attract new social media users

Fanbase, a next-generation social media app, has become the latest growth company to move into Encore, Georgia Tech’s business development center in West Midtown. Located in The Interlock mixed-use development on Howell Mill Road, Encore is positioned to connect businesses with the resources and talent of Georgia Tech and other schools and companies in Atlanta’s rapidly growing tech epicenter.

A new boost for tech startups

Fanbase, founded by songwriter, music producer, and entrepreneur Isaac Hayes III, is dedicated to cultivating an ecosystem of innovation through partnerships with emerging startups. At Encore, startups can work closely with Fanbase and Georgia Tech, leveraging their expertise and networks. This partnership aims to accelerate the growth of technology startups by providing resources and opportunities to experiment, develop, and launch new products and services with Fanbase. A key achievement of the Fanbase/Encore partnership is an innovative podcast studio available to technology startups and select partners.

Encore provides state-of-the-art meeting facilities, including expansive creative project areas, state-of-the-art equipment to host new Fanbase members, and conference spaces to launch new initiatives. Located near the Georgia Tech campus and the historically black colleges and universities that make up the Atlanta University Center, Encore facilitates collaboration with academic researchers and access to talented students, which is essential for ongoing innovation.
