YouTube Multiview feature coming soon, but there’s a catch

YouTube has just announced a number of improvements that will make the upcoming season of NFL Sunday Ticket more appealing to football fans. The most significant of these is the addition of Multiview to the YouTube app. Until now, Multiview has only been available on TVs or through the YouTube TV app. According to Google, Multiview will be available in the traditional YouTube app once the next season begins in September. The catch is that Multiview will only be available to NFL Sunday Ticket subscribers. Additionally, only users in the United States will benefit from this benefit.

In addition to the YouTube expansion, Google also announced several improvements to Multiview. For example, NFL Sunday Ticket subscribers will be able to customize their viewing experience. Previously, only pre-defined Multiview options were available, but the new version of the feature allows users to build any available combination of two, three, or four NFL Sunday Ticket games.

Additionally, Google confirmed that YouTube TV Basic plan members will also have the ability to find preferred multiview broadcasts of local NFL games through select stations.

In summary, Multiview is now available on TVs, mobile devices and tablets for YouTube TV members. For NFL Sunday Ticket subscribers on YouTube, the feature will be available on mobile devices and tablets, as well as on TVs, at the start of the season.

In addition to Multiview, YouTube revealed a number of important new features and improvements, such as the option to link Yahoo Fantasy accounts to Fantasy View. This means that both NFL Fantasy and Yahoo Fantasy users will be able to manage their teams in the same app.

It’s also worth mentioning that Fantasy View on YouTube TV is available on both TVs and mobile devices. Google also announced that for viewers watching NFL Sunday Ticket games via YouTube, Fantasy View will launch on mobile, tablet and web later this season.
