ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 is Asus’ next Wi-Fi 7 gaming router

Wi-Fi 7 is the next version of Wi-Fi that is set to follow Wi-Fi 6E. Like Wi-Fi 6E, the protocol operates on the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands and is backward compatible with the devices that preceded it. Wi-Fi 7 promises greater throughput, with features like 320 MHz channel bandwidth (twice that of Wi-Fi 6E), Multi-Link Operation (which combines bands into one for more throughput and greater stability), and improved interference handling.

More Wi-Fi 7 routers have hit the market, and prices are starting to come down, although it’s still early days. Even if your devices don’t support it yet, you can take advantage of Wi-Fi 7 mesh systems that will be able to use the features listed above to get faster, more stable wireless backhaul connections between nodes.
