Russian President to hold brief meeting with government – Russian Politics & Diplomacy

MOSCOW, August 22. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a short operational conference with members of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers.

The main topic of the conference will be support for private housing projects. However, in accordance with the accepted practice, the president and members of the government will also address current issues before discussing the main issue.

The reports will be presented by the Minister of Construction and Municipal Services Irek Faiizullin and the Governor of the Central Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina.

The Russian president meets regularly with members of the government. At such events, Putin hears reports on previously designated topics and discusses urgent issues with cabinet ministers. Presidential letters of instruction are issued following these meetings.
