Public service kiosk set up in Zhuhai

The Digital Policy Office today announced the opening of a self-service point for cross-border public services in Hong Kong in Zhuhai.

It explained that the self-service kiosk allows residents and businesses in mainland cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to access Hong Kong’s public services without having to travel to the city in person.

The kiosk provides approximately 70 public services from 11 government offices and departments as well as related organisations in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Services cover areas commonly used by businesses and the general public, including tax, company registration, property and vehicle enquiries and registration, personal identification documents and talent entry applications, social welfare and education, healthcare, immigration clearance, emergency assistance, and culture and tourism.

Additionally, interested parties can use a self-service kiosk to enter data, scan documents and print results, allowing them to handle matters related to various public services in one place.

The self-service kiosk is located at the Comprehensive Government Service Hall, 3/F, Building 1 of Zhuhai Citizen Service Center. People can use it on weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The kiosk is closed on public holidays.

In addition, an iAM Smart self-registration kiosk has been set up at the same location, allowing Hong Kong residents working and living in the mainland to register or upgrade to the “iAM Smart+” version to enjoy convenient online public services.
