‘One Piece’ Season 2 Cast Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday

Charithra Chandran is the latest addition to the cast of One Piece Season 2 on Netflix.

Chandran will play Miss Wednesday in the second season of the live-action series based on the popular manga and anime of the same name. She is the latest new addition to be announced this week, following Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra, as well as Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha and Mark Harelik as Dr. Hiriluk.

Also joining the second season of “One Piece” are Daniel Lasker, Camrus Johnson, Jazzara Jaslyn, David Dastmalchian, Werner Coetser, Brendan Murray, Clive Russell, Callum Kerr, Julia Rehwald, Rob Colletti and Ty Keogh.

Chandran is known for her role in Season 2 of the hit Netflix series “Bridgertons” and the Amazon series “Alex Rider.” She has also appeared in films such as “How to Date Billy Walsh” and “Eternals.”

She is represented by Gersh and Jonathan Arun Group.

In “One Piece,” Iñaki Godoy plays Monkey D. Luffy, the leader of the Straw Hat Pirates. He and his crew search the Blue Sea for the mythical treasure of One Piece. If he finds it, he will become the Pirate King. The cast also includes Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, Ilia Isorelys Paulino as Alvida, Jeff Ward as Buggy, and Michael Dorman as Golden Roger.

Season 2 is currently in production. Matt Owens and Joe Tracz serve as writers, co-showrunners, and executive producers for Season 2. Original One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda and former co-showrunner Steven Maeda also serve as executive producers, along with Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements of Tomorrow Studios, Tetsu Fujimura, and Chris Symes. The series is being created in association with Shueisha and produced by Tomorrow Studios (an ITV Studios partner) and Netflix.
